Welcome Blog Party hoppers! I want to use this soapbox for a good cause! If you want to take a moment (warning: this may be highly addictive) and test your vocab by playing a game where your winnings feed the hungry, (it costs you nothing to play) then click here and answer away.
Then report your fun at the comments here! (Your words pass along the encouragement so please post back here!)
It means so much to me!
You're the best blogger in the whole world!!!!

Hello! I'm a book blogger! I'll be back. Come visit! I've got a couple of authors visiting this week.
ReplyDeleteParty
Love your kitchen colors...
ReplyDeleteas for the cornbread coming out of your ears, my only thought would be to stick it in the blender and make bread crumbs out of it to coat chicken/pork for a breaded pork dish.
I'm guessing you could also freeze it...and enjoy it again later :)
Best wishes on that cornbread thing...let me know if you try it as breading -- I'd be interested to see how that turns out.
Hi. Thanks for coming by from the Party, & your lovely words of encouragement. We're praying that we will add to our family before long. I appreciate your story.
ReplyDeleteAs for your husband . . . "write no more books until . . . " Just think that if you have several written, when you find that publisher & become a best seller, you will have all kinds of things just waiting for the public to love!
But keep on blogging, too!
I've played this rice game before, but it's still a lot of fun. Plus it's educational! I got up to level 36 before I decided I'd spent enough time on it. lol
ReplyDeleteok, that was totally addictive. You were right! I love words and if I don't know the meaning I love to guess. I'm a word nerd heh
ReplyDeleteHappy blog party, good luck with your books!
It's funny, about half I've never heard of, but thanks to my ivy league edumacation (not really) I had Latin in 5th grade and am at least able to figure out some of what I don't know.....but here's a question, do you watch the rice bowl fill up or the banner that tells you if you're correct or not?
ReplyDeleteHi. I'm returning your blog party visit. I'll go and try the vocabulary game. I read your last post about your home. I think it's very nice. I especially love the colours in your upstairs living room.
ReplyDeleteWhee. Vocabulary is fun. lol. Level 43. 1060 grains, which sounds like a lot but is probably not very much at all. I'll play again.
ReplyDeleteYay! Thanks for taking the time...Level 43 we have some smart bloggers around here!
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you. Happy blog party week. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteI've been playing Free Rice for years and my 7 yr old does also. There are new subjects now and use the french subject often since we are learning french together.
ReplyDeleteWow french, I never thought of that! Haven't spoken french since I hung up my la chappeau (hat?) in 10th grade. Like I said, we have some smart bloggers around here!
ReplyDeleteI popped over from the UBP. I love the Free Rice game...it is SO addicting!

ReplyDeleteKiva is super cool too! It's the one where you open an account for as little as $25 and get to pick who you lend your money to help grow their business. I love that one for my kids! The link is on the right under "On-line favorites."
